Job Summary :

Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Nursing Assistant (NA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at our facility in Honolulu, Hawaii.

This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the healthcare / medical industry. The NA / CNA will be responsible for providing direct care and assistance to our senior residents with activities of daily living, while upholding our commitment to providing the highest quality of care.

Compensation & Benefits :

The NA / CNA position offers a competitive salary of $18 to $25 per hour, paid weekly. Responsibilities :

• Provide compassionate and respectful care to our senior residents, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor and document resident's vital signs, intake and output, and any changes in condition.
• Assist with medication management, following established procedures and protocols.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment for the residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Communicate effectively with the resident's family members and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed resident records and assist in updating care plans.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Attend in-service training and educational programs to maintain and improve nursing skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current NA / CNA certification in the state of Hawaii.
• Minimum of one year experience working with seniors in a long-term care facility.
• CPR and first aid certification.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and safety measures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
