We are looking for a highly competent and cross-trained dental office team member. Looking for someone who takes initiative and enjoys being engaged in the growth of the practice.
We are a young office with room to grow. We currently do not offer health or retirement benefits but if we can hire someone who adds value to the practice, full benefits will be feasible and well deserved!
Performance Expectations :
- Meticulous, effective, and friendly prophylactic and periodontal cleanings
- Ability to discuss in depth treatment options, explaining the differences between aesthetics, time, and money.
- Creating detailed treatment notes. Must be proficient at typing
- Competency in dental record management software (and computers in general). Creating, saving, and sharing treatment plans.
- Accurate local anesthesia skills and initiative to anesthetize for the doctor
- Assisting in cleaning operatory rooms, sterilizing and organizing equipment, completing basic and routine equipment maintenance
- Experience or willingness to cross-train basic chair-side assisting duties (impressions, bite records, laboratory skills, suctioning)
- Experience or willingness to cross-train with basic front office duties (answering phones, checking in patients, taking payments, sending pre-authorizations)
Hours : 8am-5pm M-Th, 1 / 2 days on Fridays are optional
Gas cost to travel will be re-imbursed if travel time exceeds 15 minutes
