Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Applications Systems

We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Applications Systems Professional to join our dynamic IT team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of our Oracle EBS applications.

This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, modules, and integrations, along with strong technical and problem-solving skills.

Reports To : IT Manager / Director of IT

Key Responsibilities :

• Installation and Configuration : Install, configure, and manage Oracle E-Business Suite applications. Ensure environments are properly set up and maintained.
• Patching and Upgrades : Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to the Oracle EBS applications to keep the system secure and up to date.

Plan and execute upgrade projects.

• User Management : Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within Oracle EBS. Ensure proper access control and security measures are in place.
• Performance Monitoring and Tuning : Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize the performance of the Oracle EBS applications.
• Troubleshooting and Support : Provide technical support for Oracle EBS applications. Diagnose and resolve issues related to application functionality, performance, and integration.
• Backup and Recovery : Implement and manage backup and recovery processes for the Oracle EBS environment. Ensure data integrity and availability.
• Integration : Work with other IT and business teams to integrate Oracle EBS with other systems and applications. Ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
• Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Compliance and Security : Ensure the Oracle EBS applications comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data.
• Training and Knowledge Sharing : Provide training and support to end-users and other IT staff. Share knowledge and best practices within the team.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in administering Oracle E-Business Suite applications.
• Technical Skills :
• Proficiency in Oracle E-Business Suite R12 modules, version 12.2.11or higher
• Experience with Oracle applications
• Familiarity with Oracle EBS architecture and underlying technologies.
• Soft Skills :
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Certifications : Oracle E-Business Suite certification is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud applications.
• Knowledge of middleware technologies such as Oracle Fusion Middleware.
• Experience in project management and leading upgrade or implementation projects.

Physical Requirements :

• Valid drivers license required. Must reside within the geographic area of the assigned area. This position requires regular business travel mostly by car within a set geographic region.
• Ability to carry and transport professional sales samples and literature.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed
• Frequent talking, hearing, visual acuity (detail / accuracy), and repetitive motion
