Position Summary
LONG is seeking a candidate who is excited about the opportunity to enhances our sales team by providing an excellent resource for sales office practices and improvement.
In this position, you will be able to define and implement your own best practices as a sales office professional, while working in conjunction with the Sales Manager.
As such, this position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about building relationships and delivering the highest levels of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead generation - Engage in various activities; phone calls, emailing, social marketing and industry events, to generate leads for the sales team.
- Contribute to and eventually lead local social marketing efforts. This includes coordinating with the corporate marketing team, planning social media calendars, creating social media posts, and assisting the social media team with brainstorming campaigns.
- Partners with Sales Manager to maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, producing weekly and monthly reports.
- Makes project / service follow up calls to ensure customer satisfaction collects customer feedback for process improvement.
- Assist Account Executives with take-offs, pricing, and the generation of proposals. Helps to prepare presentations, articles, & reports.
Proofreads and edits drafts and final materials for appropriate and consistent format and corrects punctuation, spelling and grammar.
- Monitor online plan rooms for upcoming jobs bidding.
- Collect bid amounts and bidder information from sales and input into CRM software.
- Assist with the booking of jobs and change orders.
- Maintain company documentation for RFP / RFQ response.
- Assists sales team in customer qualification including researching and contacting potential customers.
- Assists service sales team in renewal of service agreements.
- Manages list of associations and events to participate in for OR branch.
- Assists sales team to arrange logistics for customer events such as tradeshows, lunch and learns, sponsorship events, golf tournaments, etc.
- Attends events we sponsor or exhibits and manages the booth / event activity for the sales team.
- Other duties as assigned, including general administrative support of Oregon branch.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 Year degree preferred.
- Prior experience with marketing or social media.
- 1-2 years experience in general administrative support or sales position.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software experience a plus.
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work under pressure with multiple, high-priority deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task in an effective, timely and professional manner.
- Proven ability to apply attention to detail, role-related accuracy, and task follow-through.
- Team-oriented operating style with effective interpersonal skills that allow successful business interactions with individuals of all leadership styles, personalities, and career levels
- Ability to excel in fast paced environment with a challenging workload
