Are you an experienced Property Accountant looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Consulting Hybrid Property Accountant for a contract temp position in the Accounting + Finance industry.

Responsibilities :

As a Consulting Hybrid Property Accountant, your main responsibilities will be :

1. Overseeing all accounting operations for a portfolio of multifamily and apartment properties.

2. Preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements and reports.

3. Conducting month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

4. Coordinating with the property management team to gather information for audits.

5. Analyzing financial data and providing recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.

6. Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

7. Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

8. Communicating with clients and stakeholders about financial performance and projections.

Qualifications :

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications :

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting, specifically with multifamily and apartment properties.

3. Proficiency in month-end and year-end close processes.

4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.

6. High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

7. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

9. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to property accounting.
