American Cargo Group , an industry-leading trailer manufacturer, is seeking a dynamic individual with a proven record of success, to join our team as Territory Sales Manager stationed in our Bristol, IN facility.

American Cargo Group consists of Wells Cargo, Haulmark, and American Hauler trailers, which are sold and serviced through a nationwide network of experienced, knowledgeable dealers.

Our Wells Cargo brand pioneered the cargo trailer industry when its first steel-structured trailer rolled off the production line in 1954.

Since then, we have set the industry standard by offering innovative design, rugged durability, and expert customizations.

Responsibilities :

  • Be responsible for all business aspects of the dealer base including sell in, sell through, warranty, parts, reporting, and achieving targets for the assigned territory.
  • Implement and drive sales initiatives in the enclosed and open cargo trailer market.
  • Develop and foster dealer programs that improve market share and provide sustainable sales growth.
  • Be directly involved in setting budget and sales strategies for the assigned product line(s) in their specified region of the country.
  • Achieve sales and profitability goals and other performance goals as assigned.
  • Actively work and direct the activity of the DSS assigned to his / her territory.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of successful sales growth within the trailer industry or durable goods segment.
  • Demonstrated history of sales and profit growth.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Dealer support expertise.
  • Experience selling through a dealer or distributor network.
  • Thorough understanding of "value proposition" selling.
  • Understanding of inventory planning.
  • Experience with warranty service programs.
  • Ability to work remotely.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel is a must.
