Job Summary We are currently seeking a dedicated, professional, and experienced individual to serve as the Research Program Administrator.
This position will lead the coordination and management of multiple service contracts and community-engaged research projects, ensuring that these initiatives align with community needs and program goals.
This position will be responsible for community outreach and engagement, program management, personnel management, and the dissemination of project findings.
This individual will develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners, oversee the planning and execution of research projects, coordinate educational programs, and ensure effective communication of project outcomes to diverse audiences.
This position will also supervise and mentor a team of campus and remote staff, as well as student interns, ensuring that all project activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, experience in managing community-based research, and a deep understanding of harm reduction principles.
They will play a critical role in advancing our mission by fostering collaboration with community agencies, government partners, and affected populations.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint), NVivo, Covidence, Smartsheets, REDCap.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, have existing relationships with community partners, have the ability to speak effectively and actively engage community partners in a variety of settings, knowledge of harm reduction and substance use evidence-based interventions, and ability to apply local data to identify community-level strengths and opportunities for growth Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
