Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct monthly and annual close processes.
- Ensure timely completion of reconciliations.
- Communicate financial information effectively to business leaders.
- Lead the annual audit process in collaboration with external auditors.
- Collaborate with operational and leadership teams to drive financial performance and support decision-making.
- Lead and mentor team members to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Recommend improvements to accounting systems and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Practical understanding of IFRS 15 and 16 is preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience in the logistics or transportation sector.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Leadership skills with the ability to guide both your team and collaborate with others.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team player with a strategic mindset and proactive approach to challenges.
