Responsibilities, but not limited to :
Strategic HR Leadership :
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives for the CA, HI, and AZ regions.
- Collaborate with regional leadership to provide HR guidance and support on organizational development, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and talent development.
HR Operations :
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, performance
- management and compensation.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices across the regions.
- Manage the regional HR budget and report on key HR metrics.
Compliance and Risk Management :
- Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local employment laws, including California's complex labor laws.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures that are compliant with CA, HI, and AZ regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate HR-related risks.
Talent Management :
- Lead recruitment efforts for key regional positions, ensuring a diverse pipeline of talent.
- Drive initiatives to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across the regions.
Employee Relations :
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Lead investigations into employee concerns, grievances, and workplace incidents.
- Foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with the company's values and promotes employee well-being.
Regional HR Team Leadership :
- Develop, manage and mentor a team of HR professionals in the region.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to ensure the team's success.
- Collaborate with the broader HR team to share best practices and drive consistency.
Qualifications / Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.
g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR role managing multi-state regions.
- Strong knowledge of California labor laws and regulations, with experience handling complex compliance issues.
- Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time within the assigned regions.
- Business proficiency in English and Korean is required. Spanish skills is a plus

- 100K - 130K / commensurate with experience and skills
