About Us : We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Accounting Clerk to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to our clients and maintaining a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and process vendor invoices
- Prepare and issue customer invoices
- Oversee the invoice lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain and update customer records
- Utilize QuickBooks for accounting tasks and reports
- Manage tax compliance using Avalara
- Track customer changes on a national level
- Deposit checks and maintain accurate records
- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets with expert-level proficiency
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role
- Expert knowledge of QuickBooks
- Proficiency in handling vendor and customer invoices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Experience with Avalara or other tax compliance tools is a plus
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
