Responsibilities
Workswith DC management to help analyze and manage operating expenses inthe
Achieves districtfinancial objectives andquotas.
Manages districtinventory and other physical assets for greatestreturn.
Manages deliveryfleet.
Oversees storeP-cards and fuel cards and reconcileaccounts.
Coordinates classreturns and MIC orders with DCmanagement.
Drives theprocesses to resolve bad check and A / R for thedistrict.
Processes specialaccounting for IBSoperations.
Leads the storeimplementation of asset protection and safetyprograms.
Monitors andmaintains accuracy of the fixed assetlisting.
Reviews andinterprets district financial and operating information with the DCmanagement team, keeping management apprised of issues, progress,and results.
Providesaccurate and timely financial projections for thedistrict.
Develops thedistrict expense reserve accounts, and review and adjust as needwith input from districtmanagement.
Develops andprepares ad-hoc financial / businessreports.
Assures payablesare correctly applied andcoded.
Manages the storeinventory paperwork process, through the DC and PWR teams to ensureaccuracy.
Manages physicalinventory process instores.
Provides the DCmanagement team with inventory write-offrequirements.
Monitors grossprofit and work with pricing to identify marginopportunities.
Manages headcount and payrollbudgets.
Oversees andnegotiates store service contracts that are not managed by the DC.Provides
DC informationneeded for the store service contractnegotiations.
Providesoperational guidance and support to storemanagers.
Plans andschedules store employeetraining.
Qualifications
HSDiploma or equivalentrequired.
A four-yearbusiness-related degree preferred or equivalent businessexperience.
2-5 years NAPAstore operationsexperience.
P & Lanalysis experience.
Salesdriven and customerfocused.
Stronganalytical / problem solvingskills.
Ability tomulti-task, prioritize, and leverage electroniccommunications.
Able to usecompany standard softwareeffectively.
Effectivewritten and verbal communicationskills.
Strong sense ofurgency.
