The Associate Sales Executive will help small business owners match their needs to the right products and services offered by Block Advisors by H&R Block.
Many small business owners find tax, bookkeeping, and payroll very complex and cumbersome and it’s our purpose to provide help so they can focus on what they love doing.
Job Summary :
In this role, the Associate Sales Executive will identify potential clients through consults with prospects to identify which business services will solve their business challenges, create sales opportunities, and ultimately sell those services to new and existing clients.
As a Small Business, Sales Executive, you will be a critical part of a brand-new inside sales team that’s helping deliver transformational growth for the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- You will drive the adoption of our service offerings to interested small business owners
- You own your pipeline of leads and everything about them. Your sales are our growth. You will nurture leads beyond consultation where necessary, keeping the sales funnel robust, prioritized, and growing
- Record all account, contact, and sales activities in CRM in a timely manner
- Meet or exceed agreed-upon sales activity and sales targets
- Communicate regularly with sales management on progress
- Consistently provide an accurate monthly forecast to sales management
- Establish customer relationships that enable you to be viewed as a trusted advisor
Work closely with Account Managers to support effective new client onboarding
What you'll bring to the team...
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent
Work Experience :
- Previous experience as an account or client manager, SDR, BDR, or inside sales representative
- Experience in a B2B customer-facing role with a track record of high performance
- Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce or other)
- Oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Familiar with managing a lead or sales pipeline
- Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation ability as sales are completed remotely with prospects across the country
- Resourcefulness. Proactively leveraging available resources and knowing when to ask for help
- Effective time management and organization skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
