Description :

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A STOREROOM CLERK :

You ensure proper handling and distribution of all club purchases of both food and non-food products, either through requisitions of all food storeroom products or delivering non-food products.

You also maintain the practices and standards of the Club regarding food product quality, sanitation, and controls.

Armed with working knowledge of sources for supplies, pricing trends, and grades or quality of materials and products, you work with a strong sense of business ethics.

You love the camaraderie that comes with working as part of a cohesive purchasing team in a tightly run department. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where time goes by quickly.

TYPICAL WORK SCHEDULE :

Seeking full-time and / or part-time . Your typical work schedule will include times within the range of 5 : 30 am - 6 : 00 pm, with Monday and one other variable day off.

Working holidays and weekends is required.

Requirements :

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Georgia Driver's License
• Ability to read, write and execute basic math skills
• Exposure to or experience in purchasing quantity food, food-service equipment, supplies, or services through competitive bidding preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in extreme cold or heat

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience working in a warehouse setting
