Pay : $16.00-$19.00 per hours depending on education and experience
Job Summary
The Development Coordinator at KVC supports fundraising, volunteer programs, and donor relations by managing an in-kind giving program, maintaining donor data, organizing events and volunteer activities, and overseeing donor communication, recognition, and related projects.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain a robust in-kind giving program for KVC clients and staff, sourcing donated items to support children and families.
- Manage a comprehensive volunteer program to assist with special events and organizational needs.
- Maintain databases for purchase records, contributions, pledges, and fundraising activities.
- Process donations and acknowledgments, ensuring all paperwork is handled appropriately.
- Coordinate gift requests by conducting background research, organizing meeting materials, and preparing facilities.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with volunteers and staff members.
- Support donor cultivation and stewardship through effective communication.
- Assist with special events, volunteer activities, and other agency functions as directed by supervisors and executive leadership, based on donor and supporter strategies.
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience :
- One to three years’ experience in fundraising or related activities
- Experience in marketing, development, or office management
Preferred Experience / Education :
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Experience in Raiser’s Edge or other Fundraising and Donor Management Software
Certification / Licensure :
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid Auto Insurance
- At least 21 years old
