Job Description

• Detects and diagnose oral health problems in its early stages
• Provides basic oral health care
• Develops treatment plans to deal with dental health issues
• Interacts with patients and instruct them on proper oral care
• Educates patients on the importance of the relationship between oral health and employability
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Degree in Dental Surgery ( or Dental Medicine ( from a school approved by the Council on Dental Education, American Dental Association (ADA);

Other dental schools are acceptable provided the education and knowledge acquired was substantially equivalent to that of graduates from an ADA-approved school

• Licensed to practice dentistry in Texas
• Working knowledge of general dentistry
