summary We are currently seeking experienced Medical Assistants to join our team in McAllen, TX! Schedule : 1st shift ; M-F Pay : $12-$14 / hr paid weekly Responsibilities : Interview patients and document basic medical history.
Organize and schedule appointments. Answer calls and provide exceptional customer service to patients. Update and file medical records and insurance reports.
Take patient vital signs and prepare examination rooms. Assist physicians and nurses with routine clinical tasks. Perform administrative duties such as billing, coding, and insurance verification.
Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services. required-skills : Requirements : Previous experience in a medical assistant role preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in basic computer skills, including electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
