Commercial Insurance Account Manager
Currently seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to work in our New Bern, NC office. The Insurance Center is a full-service, independent insurance agency offering personal lines, commercial lines, life and health insurance.
Requirements :
- North Carolina Property and Casualty License or equivalent. (must be able to be attained within 90 days of hire)
- Prior experience working within the Insurance Industry preferred.
- Applied Epic knowledge preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to build client relationships.
- Effective time management skills, willingness to learn, and be coachable.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
Responsibilities :
- Assisting clients with a variety of insurance applications and policies.
- Issuing policies / binders, processing policy change requests, and processing payments.
- Assisting clients with quotes, renewals, and re-writes.
- Prepare Proof of Insurance and issuing Certificates of Insurance.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and teammates.
- Provide support to Commercial Lines Producers.
- Utilize the Agency Management System to document all activity performed and log insured and carrier correspondence.
- Accept and process insured payments, respond to billing / cancellation inquiries and process cancellations.
- Provide backup support, such as answering incoming calls, and other administrative work as needed.
- Send documentation to insureds to obtain signatures (including eSignatures), in a timely fashion, and maintain in Agency Management System or within carrier systems.
- Adhere to Agency Errors & Omissions guidelines.
