Halff is seeking an individual to grow our Transportation practice in Northeast Florida. The selected individual will be responsible for the growth and success of transportation design, planning and related services within the area, including team management and performance, business development, client relationships, and project delivery.

Senior Transportation Civil Engineer (P.E.) Team Leader Responsibilities :

• Providing strong leadership, guidance, and technical expertise to an existing exceptional Transportation Team.
• Further develop and mentor members of the Transportation Team.
• Team performance (production, profitability, quality, staffing, etc.)
• Maintain and further develop client relationships throughout Northeast Florida including FDOT and multiple Cities and Counties.
• Identify business opportunities and lead the successful pursuit of transportation design projects.
• Directly manage projects and oversee project managers on various projects.
• Work closely with other Halff leaders and manage resources to successfully workshare across the company on multiple projects.

Senior Transportation Civil Engineer (P.E.) Team Leader Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• 10 years or more of progressive experience
• Licensure as a Professional Engineer in the state
• Recognized leadership and existing relationships with transportation clients within North East Florida.
• Strong local municipal client connections
• Positive attitude, self-directed yet a team player, with a focus on integrity and quality.
