Service Manager (HVAC- Carrier or Thermo King)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Manager to oversee our HVAC department and ensure the effective and efficient management of all service operations.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality service to our clients while meeting business objectives and targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the HVAC service team, providing guidance and support to staff as required
- Ensure all service work is completed safely, on time, and to the required standard
- Develop and implement systems and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity of service operations
- Monitor and analyze service performance data to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective action
- Coordinate with other departments on service-related matters, including scheduling, parts procurement, and customer service
- Maintain detailed records of service work, including documentation of work performed, parts used, and service times
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years' experience in a service management role
- Thermo King or Carrier experience is required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in HVAC, Reefer, Refrigeration, and / or Carrier is preferred
- EPA 608 and EPA 609 certifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred
