Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer currently has a Tactical Buyer opportunity.
This role reports into our KitPackers-Resinlab (KPRL) Division located in Germantown, WI. The Tactical Buyer enters and updates purchase orders in the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning system.
Ensures all orders are shipped with correct documentation. Responds to internal and supplier inquiries regarding purchase orders concerning more complex products.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enters and maintains purchase orders in the Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP)
- Tracks the status of purchase orders and updates the Overdue Purchase Order report
- Responds to internal and supplier questions regarding purchase order entries
- Collaborates with Suppliers regarding quality issues
- Maintains supplier information within the ERP
- Ensures product documentation is accurate and complete for assigned outbound and inbound shipments, re-certification of product, receiving approval of low shelf-life items, etc.
- Collaborates within the Business Unit to resolve issues
- Assist with development of team training materials and work instructions
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of experience in purchasing or related field required (3+ years preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college in Supply Chain, Finance or related field. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent
- Strong negotiating skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards
- Very good computer skills with MS Office applications, ERP, etc
