Flight Test Discipline Engineering Manager
Job Description
We are Lockheed Martin
This position is for a first line manager of a flight test engineering department at Edwards AFB, CA. This department is responsible for the planning, execution, and reporting of F-35 Mission Systems flight test.
Fully staffed, the candidate will manage the workflow of and provide leadership to five teams ( 20-25 total personnel)
Knowledge of USG flight test process is required. Familiarity of LM Aeronautics leadership development processes (Full Spectrum Leadership) is highly desired.
The successful candidate will direct their teams through test planning, test execution, test reporting Test readiness Reviews, and Flight Readiness Reviews.
This position requires frequent communication to varying levels of management to flow test results, request for resources, and to address technical issues.
Secret security clearance with investigation completed within the last 5 years
A level 5 employee Typically has 14 - 20 years of professional experience.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
