Position : Bartender / Cook-05 Salary : $20.43 / hour

DUTIES :

Prepares and cooks a variety of menu items. Washes and cleans kitchen equipment. Maintains assigned area in a neat and orderly manner and in compliance with fire, safety, sanitation and security regulations.

Maintains proper temperature for all foods during holding, transport, reheating, and serving to assure quality control and food safety.

Verifies and stores food supplies properly.

Prepares and serves all types of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages from a full-service bar. Mixes a wide variety of drinks to order, following a variety of established recipes.

Receives payment, makes change and is accountable for cash fund. Assists in taking inventory and maintaining records. Keeps bar area clean and keeps area stocked properly at all times.

Washes bar equipment, glassware, and utensils. May perform other sanitation duties within assigned work area as required.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :

Minimum :

  • Experience in food preparation and presentation as well as the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Experience operating and cleaning / sanitizing food service equipment.
  • Experience bartending
  • Work requires continual standing and walking, and frequent stooping, reaching, pushing and pulling, and bending. Lifts and carries objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance.
