Daycare & Preschool Teacher Colorado Springs Full-Time & Part-Time

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Childcare Teacher for our NAEYC-accredited school in Colorado Springs.

Full-time and part-time positions are available. We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you!

Lead Teacher starting pay : $16-$18 / hour, starting rates based on education and experience.

Assistant Teacher starting pay : $15-$16 / hour, starting rates based on experience.

Current Teaching Positions Available :

• Lead Toddler Teacher, full-time; must be able to work until 6PM
• Lead Pre-K Teacher, full-time; must be able to work until 6PM
• Lead Float Teacher and Bus driver (must have LT qualifications), full time and part-time available; must be able to work until 6PM.
• Substitute Lead Teacher / Cook

Teacher Duties :

• Implement our award-winning curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique learning style.
• Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Document and share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app.
• Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development.
• Have fun and work as part of a supportive team!

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required and must be at least 18-years-old.
• Previous teaching experience in licensed childcare preferred.
• Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field preferred.
• Lead Teacher : Starting pay of $16-$18 / hour, based on education and experience.
• Must have the following qualifications to be considered :
• Early child development college courses
• Completed college degree
• Current CDA
• Early childhood or special education professional development trainings through the state such as EQUIT or pyramid plus
• Credential level 2 or higher
