responsibilities :
- Study, analyze, and design methods, procedures, processes, layouts, fixtures, and tooling to meet job objectives.
- Plan, coordinate, and lead manufacturing projects, including developing plans, determining resource requirements, and providing accurate and timely reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and recommend resolutions for existing or imminent manufacturing problems.
- Investigate, prepare, and recommend manufacturing cost reduction and product / process improvement programs.
- Coordinate with support groups to ensure manufacturability, process capabilities, and capacities are developed to support new products.
- Coordinate or manage 3P schedules and establish Standard Operating Procedures.
- Work as part of a cross-functional team to sustain current production by providing support for quality issues, production equipment problems, and part documentation errors, determining root cause and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop manufacturing operating instructions or procedures and train assemblers and operators in machine operations, processes, or assembly applications.
