Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a Staff Contracts Administrator to support the Restricted and Emerging Restricted Operating Unit (OU) under the growing Advance Missions Capabilities (AMC) Business Unit (BU)! What’s not a secret is that this job will support multiple restricted customers, working on future technologies that will drive major franchise programs.

It’s no secret this is an on-site (with reasonable flexibility) role in Linthicum, MD. Coming into the office is worth it to work alongside high-energy team members and supportive leadership.

What You’ll Get to Do :

Responsibilities include the following :

Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts, and interdivisional contracts.

Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.

Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations;

compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.

Qualifications for Staff Contract Administrator (A05) :

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of relevant directly related experience, or Master's degree and 13+ years of directly relevant experience.

Will consider 19 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Strong technical acumen in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Adobe

In-depth knowledge of FAR / DFARS and demonstrated experience with different contract types.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to make recommendations and effectively bring projects to completion.

Must have capable & effective proposal development skills, excellent negotiation skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills

Must have an active Secret security clearance, with the most recent periodic investigation completed in the last 5 years.

Ability to travel occasionally.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions.

Preferred Qualifications :

Active Top Secret security clearance

Experience in the Aerospace Industry

Extensive DoD Contracting experience with USG and Prime customers

Experience working restricted programs, proven ability to work in closed program areas.

NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM and / or CCCM)

Salary Range : $130,100 - $195,100The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.

Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
