KMEA is looking for an experienced infrastructure Construction Inspector Manager on remote US islands in the Pacific theater.
These positions work across a broad range of disciplines including civil (wastewater) and electrical power distribution systems.
Flexibility to travel to remote US sites that will require the person to be away from home of record up to 90 percent of the time.
This job is on a military installation in the Pacific Theater Islands; it is NOT located in San Antonio.) Key Responsibilities : Performs Title II construction inspection and oversight.
Provides design review and suggestions for correcting errors.
Review material, equipment, and commissioning submittals.
Supports construction contractor Requests-For-Information.
Notifies the Contracting Officer (CO) and COR of critical issues that may affect the contract performance and / or human health and the environment.
Follows company safety standards and site safety standards.
Understands and adheres to company policies.
Provides photographs and maintains daily log of construction activities.
Performs most assignments independently but consults with others and receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems.
Plans work and meets deadlines without supervisor action.
