Data Visualization Analyst
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Business Insights Team at Milliken is seeking someone who can implement analytical solutions to support decision makers across the company.
This position requires an artistic mind to design data visualizations and technical skills to develop them in cutting-edge technologies all with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction through iterative prototyping and feedback.
This role is based at our headquarters in Spartanburg, SC and will follow our hybrid, remote-work flexibility with 3 days on site and 2 days remote.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, business analysts, and business users to develop new analytics solutions
- Design and launch solutions in tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI and CRM Analytics
- Contribute to overall architecture and design
- Assist in the roll-out of data visualization tools and dashboards
- Advance the adoption of analytics solutions across the company

- Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
- Ability to present large amounts of information in clear and meaningful ways
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
- Experience with advanced analytic technologies (predictive, data lakes, big data, etc)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Analytics, Operations, Management, or a related field
- 2+ years work experience in business intelligence, building visualizations / dashboards, experience working with complex datasets
- Demonstrated understanding of data modeling, data analysis, and data management principles
- Preferred : MBA or equivalent experience
