What You’ll Do
- Interacts professionally and timely with clients via email, phone, and in-person
- Performs functions of the role within an IMA office 60% of the time
- Maintains a proactive approach, focusing on claim resolutions and strategies; advocates for the timely resolution of claim matters
- Communicates pertinent claim information on a timely basis to internal and external clients
- Develops strong working knowledge of Applied Epic and Carrier Interface Systems
- Develops external relationships with internal and external clients
- Assists on Claims Projects, coordinates claim reviews, reports, loss runs, or other tasks as assigned
- Demonstrates technical insurance knowledge
- Support and demonstrate IMA’s core values
- Value and understand the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates.
You Should Have :
- 1 to 3 years of similar or related experience
- Experience with EPIC preferred
- Experience with MS Office products preferred / required (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
1) A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business / trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program
- Prior claim experience preferred or coordination of claim and general insurance experience
- Strong communication skills and basic mathematical skills required
- Ability to discuss and solve claim problems and communicate same with clients and carriers
