Appliesthe nursing process through assessment, formulating nursing diagnosis,planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating plans of care for assignedpatients, following established standards of nursing practice as delineated bythe Medical Center.
Works collaboratively with ancillary nursingpersonnel and promotes teamwork among all members of the healthcare team.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with currentRegistered Nurse licensure in the State of Hawaii required.One to two (1-2) years of medical / surgical orcritical care experience required;
- one (1) year of Emergency / Trauma nursingexperience preferred. Trauma Nurse Core Course Provider (TNCC / P) and / orPediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification preferred;
or achievedwithin two (2) years of employment.Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) preferred; or any combinationof education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skillsand abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to perform the essentialfunctions of this position.
Basic LifeSupport required,with retraining required once every two years.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training required, with retrainingonce every two years.
Starting Hourly Range : $46.69 $58.65
