JOB DESCRIPTION

The Opportunity

Delaware North Boston Holdings is seeking part-time Museum Guides to join our New England Sports Museum team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

The Sports Museum is located throughout the TD Garden arena and provides backstage arena tours for guests daily. In this role, you'll be a storyteller for our guests at the Museum, speaking about Boston history and sports.

$17.00 - $17.00 / hour

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with enthusiasm and provide assistance where needed.
• Lead guided tours of The Sports Museum and parts of TD Garden.
• Assist in the daily operations of The Sports Museum including cleanliness of the facility, answering phones, proofreading, mailings, copying, and other duties as assigned.
• Manage daily guest attendance records.
• Support in the installation and maintenance of exhibits.
• Help the Education and Development departments as needed

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Associates must be able to provide their own transportation and parking costs to / from work.
• Weekday availability from 10 am - 5 pm is preferred, noting the Museum is open Monday - Sunday. Occasional hours may be required for special events, preparation for exhibit openings, etc.
• Public speaking experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Boston history and Boston sports preferred

Standing and walking for entire length of shift.
