The CommunityRelations Director is responsible for sales and marketing efforts toachieve retirement community occupancy goals.
Depending on assigned campus, theCommunity Relations Director will shift their selling focus, strategy, andactivity from reservations and filling a new building, to maintainingoccupancy, to building a multi-year waiting list.
This role is a member of thecampus leadership team. Periodically, the Community Relations Director attendswider-community events to network and assure a positive public relations presencefor the local Wesley community.
This job is classified as an inside sales, non-exempt, hourly role.
What you'll do
- Utilize CRM system and sales tools to buildrelationships and nurture prospective residents through the sales cycle.
- Achieve sales-related activity goals andperformance benchmarks.
- Develop and nurture priority reservation listto build pipeline for multiple housing accommodations types.
- Coordinate move-in process with campus employees / managementand incoming resident / family.
- Monitor local market trends and stay abreastof competition pricing.
- Contribute to creation and then manage campuspromotional budget.
- May supervise Sales Representative(s) and / orMove-In Coordinator.
- Develop and implement charter club forpriority reservations and ongoing engagement (start-up).
- Set-up and maintain leasing office prior tobuilding opening (start-up).
What you'll need
- A desire to engage with seniors to help themlive their best years.
- Prior knowledge of principles and methods forshowing, promoting, and selling products or services.
- Prior knowledge of marketing strategy andtactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques.
- Three (3) years' experience in salesand / or marketing roles, preferably in health care, housing or community servicepreferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite andother common workplace technology
- Ability to understand and communicate in theEnglish language
- Valid Washington State Driver's License andactive automobile insurance
SalaryRange : $32.60 to $46.98 per hour
This position also includes sales incentives : 1) $250 bonus per sale, 2) $100 bonus per referral sale, and 3) $250 bonus if monthly milestone / occupancy goal met.
