An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related business
discipline is required
3+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or
production environment
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and cost analysis techniques
- Proficiency in SAP ERP system or similar ERP software
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maneuver through ambiguity in a fast-growing, startup environment
- Experience with SAP implementation projects is a plus

- Develop and maintain cost accounting records and ensure accuracy of data
- Collaborate with various departments to gather cost-related information and
provide support as needed
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management review
- Conduct cost variance analyses to identify discrepancies between standard costs
and actual costs, and implement corrective actions as needed
Analyze existing cost structures and recommend adjustments to align with
standard cost methodologies
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and
regulations
