We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant with expertise in spine or adult reconstruction / sports medicine care to join our dynamic team.

As a Specialty-Trained Physician Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in our patient-centered approach to orthopedic care.

You will work collaboratively with our renowned specialists, orthopedic surgeons, and multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for spine or adult reconstruction / sports medicine-related conditions.

  • Please apply on our website to be considered : newportortho / careers (newportortho / careers) Responsibilities : Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as MRIs, CT scans, and X-rays.* Collaborate with the medical team to develop personalized treatment plans for spine or adult reconstruction / sports medicine-related conditions.
  • Perform injections and assist with minimally invasive procedures.* Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and post-operative care.
  • Participate in rounds, case discussions, and medical conferences to stay up to date on advancements in spine or adult reconstruction / sports medicine care.

Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.*Qualifications : Certified Physician Assistant with a valid state license.

  • 1-2 years of spine specialty training or relevant experience in orthopedics (spine or adult reconstruction / sports medicine).
  • Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing spine or adult reconstruction / sports medicine-related conditions.* Proficiency in performing injections and assisting in procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage and educate patients effectively.* Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
