Job Details
What You'll Do :
Oversee daily operations of the production line, ensuring that schedules are adhered to and quality standards are metCoordinate and supervise all production activities, including planning, organizing, and controlling production schedulesMonitor performance of production lines, analyzing production data, and implementing improvements as necessaryMaintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resourcesImplement and enforce company policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with safety regulationsProvide leadership, direction, and motivation to the production team, fostering an environment of teamwork and collaborationHandle labor relations in a union setting, including conflict resolution, negotiations, and employee grievancesCollaborate with other departments to optimize production processesParticipate in budget development and cost tracking activitiesWhat You'll Need
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a production environmentExperience in a union setting is a plusStrong understanding of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of products.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and engage a diverse teamExceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and plan for the futureExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong understanding and commitment to health and safety regulations in a production environment.Must be able to work multiple shiftsInterested in hearing more?
