Demonstrated capability / understanding of the design and development of medical devices including electro-mechanical assemblies, mechanisms, metal and plastic components, and manufacturing processes.

Leverage solid electrical engineering fundamentals to document clear justification of recommendations and support critical technical decisions.

Create and implement product test plans / protocols, coordinate / execute testing, and generate test reports to ensure product design changes meet specifications, comply with regulations and quality system requirements.

Lead released product engineering teams through design, planning, developing, testing and analysis during product change implementation to drive improved product performance, reliability, and manufacturability, reduce cost, and / or ensure supply continuity.

Partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, CM / OEM, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and other key functions to achieve business goals.

Coordinate and prioritize Engineering activities and deliverables to meet project goals and timelines and identify and mitigate project risks.

Identify and act on opportunities to implement best practices in projects and processes.

What products (if any) will this role support? This role is an individual contributor for the GYN Women s Health portfolio (TruClear Product Family), under the Client Surgical Operating Unit.

What are your target years of experience? Degree in Electrical Engineering, with one or more of the following :

AS with 15 years of relevant experience

BS with 8 years relevant experience

MS with 6 years relevant experience

PhD with 3 years relevant experience

When do you plan to start interviewing? Immediately

Will you be looking to hire and start ASAP, or will the start date be delayed? ASAP

Will the contingent worker be working remotely or onsite, or both (if both, please confirm possible schedule)? Hybrid : Some Remote and some onsite.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

Specialist Career Stream : Typically, an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty.

Delivers and / or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower-level professionals.

The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects from design to implementation while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education (typically University).

Differentiating Factors Autonomy : Recognized expert, managing large projects or processes. Exercises considerable latitude in determining deliverables of assignments, with limited oversight from manager.

Coaches, reviews and delegates work for lower-level specialists.
