Position : Foster Care Supportive Visitation Coach
Reports To : Program Coordinator
Beginning Pay Range : $39,615.00-$43,484.00

About this Opportunity :
The Foster Care Supportive Visitation (FCSV) Visit Coach will provide intensive and individualized parent-child visit services to families whose children are in foster care and where reunification is the case goal.
General activities include providing in-home parenting education, observing parent-child interactions, and giving helpful feedback to the parent before and after each session.
The FCSV program utilizes the Bavolek Nurturing Parenting Program curriculum and the Adult-Adolescent Parenting Inventory (AAPI) and Nurturing Skills Competency Scale assessment tools for the development of service plans and to measure client progress.

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in social work, sociology, psychology, family ecology, consumer / community services, family studies, family and order child development, guidance / school counseling, or counseling psychology, or a related area and a minimum of one year field experience working with multi-problem families.
Good oral and written communication skills, organizational skills and computer skills are a must. You must have a valid driver’s license and adequate insurance with a car available at all times.
This candidate must have the ability to work with a variety of people both within and outside the Agency and must promote a positive image for the Agency in the community and in relationship with other agencies and their personnel.
Having personal qualities of warmth, sensitivity, and the ability to establish meaningful rapport and maintain mutual respect with people from various cultures are preferred.
You must have p Positive acceptance of supervision in order to learn and be trained in job-related functions. Lastly, having personal qualities of organizational skills, assertiveness, good judgment, conscientiousness, attention to detail, and timeline are required.
