Job Title : General Production Worker

Job Description

A Production Operator I works as part of a team to produce quality electronic equipment within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

A Production Operator I flexes easily between tasks and seeks to be proficient at all tasks within their assigned functional area.Responsibilities :

• Fabricates or assembles electronic equipment according to written work instructions
• Rotates to multiple work areas daily based on established patterns
• Delivers materials to point of consumption in response to Kanban signals
• Accurately performs inventory transactions
• Actively participates in daily Tier 1 daily management system (DMS) meetings
• Contributes to continuous improvement projects
• Keeps work area well organized and clean
• Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor

Hard Skills

• Small parts familiarity
• Computer / English competency

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tigard, Oregon.

Work Environment

State of the art electronics manufacturing environment. Brand new facility with new work stations. The facility is set up like a football field, starting in one end-zone with raw materials, followed by the SMT & AOI machines, followed by the assembly / hand add area, and ending in the packaging / shipping department.

This position will be working in the assembly / hand add area.
