RN MDS Coordinator
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with various disciplines to assist in the completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS), Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), and associated processes
- Ensure completion of assessments within mandated timeframes
- Manage resident assessment process and tracking of Medicare / Managed Care / Medicaid case mix documents
- Coordinate resident care planning processes
Qualifications :
- Graduation from a School for Registered Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience in an MDS / Clinical Reimbursement Nurse role preferred
- Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR and AED certifications required
- Knowledge of case-Mix, Medicare PPS process, Quality Indicator Process, and OBRA regulations
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office
Pay Range : USD $45.47 - USD $56.84 / Hr
