Associate Professor / Professor of Pathology and Cell Biology at CUMC

The Department of Pathology and Cell Biology at Columbia University is seeking a Director of Surgical Pathology at the Associate Professor or Professor level. Board certification in Anatomic Pathology is a requirements for this position. Teaching and communication skills are essential. Applicants must hold an MD, DO, or MD / PhD degree and be able to obtain a NYS medical license.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide expert diagnostic services in surgical pathology.
• Oversee and manage laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead and mentor faculty, trainees while contributing to education through teaching of residents, and fellows.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care and multidisciplinary initiatives.
