Role : Senior Electrical Engineer
Industry : Microgrids
Location : Hybrid (2-3x a week in Sausalito, CA)
Salary : $120K-$160K + equity
I'm partnered with an exciting Series A Microgrid startup that have developed a smart grid solution with EV Charging stations.
As they continue to grow they're looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the team to manage the design & development of their microgrid projects across BESS, EV charging, and solar solutions.
This will include developing detailed project and product designs and owning technical commissioning in terms of testing & interacting with manufacturers / supplies to make improvements to existing products.
MUST be able to commit to min 2x a week in Sausalito, CA office.
Responsibilities :
- Manage BESS, PV, & EV charging electrical design packages, utility interconnection drawings, site layout drawings
- Production and management of in-house & 3rd party design, prototyping, & testing efforts for electrical products
- Review design documents and provide feedback on design concept, code compliance, adherence to contract requirements, constructability & cost optimization
- Participate in site visits to determine constraints & interconnection requirements
- Own system commissioning / decommissioning
Requirements :
- BS in Electrical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline
- MIN 2 years electrical engineering experience in BESS or Microgrids space
- MIN 2 years experience in electrical design
- MIN 2 years experience in commissioning (testing / system work)
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting / modeling programs
- Strong experience managing multiple project within BESS or Microgrid space
Nice to have :
- PE License / EIT certified
- Startup experience
