VersaTech is an Automation company with over 500 people and $80M+ in annual sales. VersaTech offers Instrumentation and Electrical services to the oil and gas market including construction, maintenance, commissioning and loop checking.

VersaTech has offices in Houston, Midland, New Orleans, and Africa. Our scope of work includes both onshore and offshore projects in the US and overseas.

VersaTech has an opening for an Administrative Assistant to the Field Services Manager to work at our Harvey, LA facility.

This position supports 150 - 200 Field Services Employees with various time keeping, safety, billing, training, and on-boarding tasks.

  • Use our customized database to track weekly timesheets for 150 - 200 people each week. This process includes verifying the hours, per-diem, classifications, and billing rates for the employees.
  • Track and confirm the completion of all timesheets for everyone in the group by the required deadline each week.
  • Work with Payroll Manager each week to ensure that time is properly posted.
  • Work with employees to create Expense Reports and verify receipts and charges.
  • Assist Field Services Manager with the weekly per-diem advances and reconciliations.
  • Track employee training records through custom software and ensure that employees are current on their new hire and annual training requirements.
  • Set up training classes as required for Field Services Employees.
  • Assist with the new hire process and on-boarding of Field Services employees communicating with employees, Field Services Manager, and Human Resources.
  • Administer online tests for Skills Assessments
  • Assist with the Project Management Software to create Quotes and take out Job Numbers in custom software.
  • Prepare and submit preliminary spreadsheet to invoicing department for certain customers.
  • Set up hotel accommodations for employees working away from home.
