Ascendo Resources is partnering with a well-established law practice that is currently seeking an experienced Estate Planning Paralegal to join its Charlotte, North Carolina office.

Job Summary

The Paralegal will be responsible for drafting and preparing legal documents, reviewing and editing documents, coordinating client meetings, and offering input to support strategic planning efforts.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Drafts and prepares legal documents, including federal estate and gift tax returns, probate forms, estate accountings, and estate planning instruments.
  • Reviews, edits, and organizes documents related to estate and trust administration.
  • Coordinates and attends client meetings and discussions.
  • Offers input and analysis to support strategic planning efforts.
  • Prepares court filings and other necessary legal documents.
  • On-site, in-person attendance is a regular requirement due to the collaborative nature of this position.
  • Assists with additional projects and duties as needed.

Qualifications :

  • A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in estate administration, including preparing complex federal estate and gift tax returns for high-net-worth clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing matters independently.
  • Strong working knowledge of the legal procedures and documentation involved in estate law.
