Salary : Commensurate of experience
Douglas Brooke Family of companies is looking for an experienced mechanic to service fleet vehicles and construction equipment.
Responsibilities :
- Repairing and maintaining vehicles and equipment with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Travel to local worksites to complete repairs as needed.
- Maintain documentation of all repairs on equipment.
- Coordinate with administrative team on inventory, insurance, registration and accident investigation.
- Monitor for and coordinate repairs for vehicle recalls.
- Spot check walk arounds to ensure drivers are following Pre and Post Trip checklists and following safety protocols.
- Ensuring proper safety equipment is available on on vehicles.
- Ordering and stocking materials needed for repairs.
- Other duties or tasks may be assigned on an as-needed basis
Qualifications :
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, gas, and diesel equipment and vehicles.
- Must have own tools
- Clean Driver License. CDL preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently with direction.
- Minimum 2 yrs Experience
- ASE Certification a plus.
