Purpose of Position :
The Analytics and Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for direct technical development and lifecycle management of Sportsman’s software applications both in-house developed and 3rd party supplied and managed services.
The Analytics and Business Intelligence Developer will interface directly with the larger IT organization and business partners to ensure business needs are met.
This position is key to driving advancements in the business through dynamic and flexible development and service improvements.
Essential Technical Competencies :
- Proven ability to complete software development projects according to outlined scope and timeline
- Work with Business and IT Partners to determine and define development project scope and objectives
- Manage core development of Sportsman’s interface tools and custom-built applications
- Interface with 3rd party vendor technical teams during project phases, especially for integrated services and software projects
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout SDLC
- Develop and document SDLC processes to be used across the development team
- Proven ability to work in an environment of shared technical resources
- Proven success working with all levels of management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
