The core mission of the Warehouse Material Handler is to facilitate the efficient and accurate receipt and storage of the materials used in the manufacturing processes.
The Warehouse Material Handler is an integral part of the production team and is required to have comprehensive knowledge about the material and understand the manufacturing workflow.
- Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintain a calendar of incoming materials and developing plans for the off-loading of materialsAccurately fulfill department requisitions and deliver parts throughout factoryResponsible for material inspectionsReview purchase ordersEnsure proper documentation of materials is completeAccurately follow material control proceduresEffectively communicate with procurement staff, supervisors, and relevant production staff regarding material deliveriesResponsible for material inventory and material storage* *RequirementsComfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environmentStrong organization skills and the ability to track, retain and integrate informationAbility to confidently interface with all levels of company organizationAbility to meet critical deadlines and schedulesFluent in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and AdobeExcellent written communications, using correct grammar and spellingQualifications2+ years of experience operating a forkliftPrevious construction, warehouse, or manufacturing experiencePrevious shipping and / or receiving experience is a plus* *Physical Requirements / Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Be able to lift, pull and push material and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. Be able to lift 70 pounds of weight throughout assigned workday if required.
The employee will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors. This position requires physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities in a primarily production environment.
