Qualifications :

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate or Experienced Production Equipment Maintenance Technician - Automation (Level B or C) to support Production Equipment Maintenance Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on Variable Shift!

The selected candidate will support Boeing South Carolina locations including the North Charleston Airport Campus and Ladson Facilities depending on business needs.

Position Responsibilities :

Repairs and maintains equipment and demonstrates experience in these areas.

Responds to trouble calls and resolves a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Follows safety procedures and regulations.

Interprets basic schematics and diagrams.

Uses a variety of hand and power tools to construct, renovate and repair equipment.

Works with electrical systems and electronic components of complex industrial machinery and equipment, following manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications.

Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines;

following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; solving malfunctions.

May receive specialized equipment training.

Exhibits Boeing behaviors.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience) :

Must be willing to work any shift assigned (1st, 2nd, 3rd, weekend, overtime).

1+ years of experience in equipment maintenance.

1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint / schematic reading, specification, change, design).

1+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC / DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and / or Power Meters.

1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).

1+ years of experience in a customer facing role.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :

4+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

4+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

4+ years of experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

4+ years of experience with automation systems maintenance, robotics systems, and various types of equipment controllers, such as Siemens 840D, Fanuc, and Allen Bradley.

4+ years of experience solving and operating PLCs (preferably Siemens and Allen Bradley).

Typical Education / Experience :

Associate (Level B) :

Education / experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma / GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.

g. vocational school / Associate).

Experienced (Level C) :

Education / experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma / GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.

g. vocational school / Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Summary pay range : Associate (Level B) : $57,780 - $61,560.

Summary pay range : Experienced (Level C) : $68,135 - $ 70,119.
