Responsibilities :
Mechanical assemblers are responsible to use tools and equipment to assemble parts, pieces, and products for machines or mechanical products.
Prepare work
Read and understand blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions. They may also study assembly instructions and parts lists.
Position parts
Follow instructions and drawings to position parts correctly for proper fit and assembly on the machine or component being constructed.
Assemble components
Use hand and power tools to mechanically fasten parts and subassemblies together. They may also connect cables, tubes, valves, fittings and wires.
Test machinery
Make sure the machinery is working as expected and make adjustments as needed. Job Requirements :
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Accurately read and use a measuring tape
- Read blueprints and CAD drawings
- Strong problem solving skills
- 2 years minimum experience in a mechanical position
- Ability to lift 40lbs
- Use of all mechanical hand and power tools (sockets, wrenches, drills, Etc) Perks and Benefits :
