Description
STV is seeking a Civil Engineering Specialist to join our growing Civil Engineering Department team in our Los Angeles office.
The Civil Engineering Specialist will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of various civil engineering projects.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in civil engineering, with a background in transportation and transit engineering.
The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful completion of projects, meeting high-quality standards, and adhering to project timelines.
Responsibilities :
Design civil engineering projects from conceptualization through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications.
Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments to inform project design and development.
Collaborate with architects, environmental engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate various project elements seamlessly.
Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for accuracy and compliance.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols.
Help foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address project-related issues and ensure project success.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
EIT (engineering-in-Training) is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on transportation and transit engineering.
Willingness and curiosity to learn new engineering software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Commitment to staying abreast of industry trends and incorporating innovative solutions into projects.

Compensation Range :
$67,246.00 - $89,661.00
