CNC Machining Operator 2 nd shift

Job Duties :

• Fine-tune machine controls and adjust tool settings to maintain dimensions within specified tolerances.
• Load and unload parts onto machines, ensuring precise positioning, securing, and alignment with cutting tools or holders.
• Run machines through cycles, making necessary adjustments to ensure timing, clearances, and tolerances meet specifications.
• Analyze blueprints, layouts, and job order information to determine operational sequences and tooling requirements.
• Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts using a variety of measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Schedule : Initial training on 1st shift : Monday to Friday from 5 : 00am- 3 : 00pm with Saturdays from 5 : 00am 10 : 00am.

Transition to 2nd shift : Monday to Friday from 3 : 00pm 1 : 00am with a mid-shift on Saturdays from 10 : 00am 3 : 00pm.

Pay : $27.00 - $40.00

Requirements :

• Minimum of 6 months of previous machine operation experience required, preferably in CNC lathes / mills, Laser welders / cutters, hobbers / shapers, etc.
• Proficiency in machine setup and tooling changeover.
• Strong mathematical skills and the ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Expertise in taking precise measurements using inspection tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Physical stamina to work 10-hour shifts in a challenging environment involving walking, standing, lifting, and other physical activities.
