POSITION OVERVIEW :

Responsible for all instrument processing activities, including decontamination, disinfection, and sterilization of all flexible scopes, other instruments, and appropriate supplies for future use.

Assists with inventory control and restocking of unit. COmpletes other duties as required. Receives direction from : Endoscopy Staff Supervisor, Endoscopy RN.

EDUCATION :

High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE :

• Previous Central Supply / Endoscopy Tech experience preferred.
• Previous CNA experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES :

• Able to properly fill out forms; able to follow manufacture's instructions.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
